Your German GlobalFriend

For dancing and hiking Gretchen likes to wear this pretty, traditional dirndl skirt and eyelet blouse. The skirt buttons off so she can climb easily in her lederhosen shorts.  Gretchen's mom made it for her in bright green, Gretchen's favorite color. Mom thinks of everything! Gretchen spends so much time outdoors, her Tyrlean hat and lace-up boots are a must.

Fully poseable, Gretchen is 14" and made of soft finyl with sparkling violet eyes and long blonde hair you can brush and style. She arrives with a pen pal letter, in a beautiful gift box.

Notes:

From the website:

Guten Tag! I'm Gretchen from Germany!

Fritz and I want you to come celebrate Oktoberfest with us! Everybody wears traditional costumes. There are loud brass bands everywhere, and we all sing and dance and laugh! See you soon!

Love, Gretchen

Gretchen  is the picture of German tradition in her jumper-style dirndl dress, lacy blouse and Tytolean hat. Lederhosen shorts are hiding underneath for hiking later! Her violet eyes sparkle, and her long, blond hair is perfectly brushable.

Gretchen was introduced late in 1997, after the first 11 dolls (along with Mei Ling).
