Meg and autumn seem to go together. With her red hair, she fits right in with the changing leaves in Ginger Brook Hollow™ She likes the crisp feel of the air and she likes the smells that fill Grandma Sunday’s kitchen when she starts baking again after the hot months of summer. Sometimes Grandma Sunday calls Meg her "Little Nutmeg" because she is so fond of spices. She loves ginger bread, pumpkin pie, and spice cake or warm apple cider with a little bit of cinnamon. Meg says she wants to be as good at baking as Grandma is when she grows up. She is already quite a good little cook. However, with her warm brown eyes and red hair, she is also a very good nurse. She is the best one to listen to and care for the other girls when they are down. Somehow she just knows how to make them feel better. We think the old phrase "sugar and spice, and everything nice" is the perfect way to describe Meg.
