Starpath Dolls

About the brand:

Still in development, the prototypes were designed by doll artist Linda Mason (known mostly for her porcelain dolls).

According to the July, 2013 article in Doll Collector magazine, by Virginia Davis, the dolls were the brainchild of Anita Winsor inspired by her then 8-year-old daughter who loves to read. The unique feature of this brand is the personalized book that is printed and sent to the child after they fill out questions on the company website.

The dolls will have a vinyl head, limbs, and breastplate, with a cloth lower torso. Initial release was slated for 2015. This was later bumped to Spring 2016. As of January 2017, these dolls remain to be made available.
