Martha's Friends for Martha Pullen

Year of introduction:
2002
About the brand:

In 2002, Martha's Friends dolls replaced the Dress Me dolls in the Martha Pullen catalog.

The Martha's Friends dolls are shown in the picture above and were:

  • Anna Christine - blonde hair, blue eyes
  • Hannah Grace - red hair, brown eyes
  • Susan Marie - brown hair, blue eyes
  • Nancy Lea - black hair, brown eyes

The dolls cost $89 and came dressed as shown and were signed and numbered by Martha Pullen, edition size of 400. (You could purchase any of the 18" doll dressing books for 1/2 price with a doll order.)

The Martha's Friends dolls have the Starshine face mold, used by Gotz for several doll lines including their play dolls and their (post-2004) Precious Day dolls (and earlier for the dolls made by Gotz for the Starshine Dolls company, which is where the mold gets its name).
