About the company:

From the company About Us page:

Learning Curve International, Inc., was founded in 1993 by John Lee, a father of four, and a man who feels strongly about helping kids achieve their potential through constructive play.

Prior to creating Learning Curve, Lee was the U.S. division president of the U.K. based specialty toy retail chain, Early Learning Centers. He started Learning Curve with the licensed Thomas & Friends™ Wooden Railway System, and in a few short years the company has grown to lead the specialty toy industry with a variety of high-quality brands of developmental toys, books and software.

Learning Curve is a proud contributor to K.I.D.S (Kids In Distressed Situations), the national charity of the children's industry, which donates toys, books, clothing and shoes to kids in need across the U.S. and abroad.

Learning Curve president, John Lee, is co-founder of Playing for Keeps; a unique new advocacy coalition committed to fostering a climate of constructive play for children.
